We believe giving back to our community is good business. Since FROST first opened its doors, we have aligned ourselves with charitable and humanitarian organizations that matter to us, and to our customers.
Through our support of local food banks, we have fed hundreds of individuals and families in need; offering them not only food they desperately need, but a special treat they deserve. Since we started, we have donated thousands of doughnuts through Salt of the Earth, who distributes for us locally.
In October 2009 we created the “Pink Ribbon Raised” campaign in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Nearly 600 custom-made pink ribbon raised doughnuts were sold with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research & Treatment Center.
Here are some other community and charitable events FROST has been involved with:
- Alzheimer’s Memory Walk
- Bill Wixey “Light the Night” walk for Lymphoma
- Seattle Children’s Hospital Gala
- Run of the Mill 5k Race
- Pancreatic Cancer Benefit
- Mill Creek Little League Sponsorship
- Local YMCA Chapters
- Local Schools & Educational Events
For the 2009 holiday season we partnered with Treehouse, a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults in foster care. FROST’s leadership is also responsible for making Treehouse a charitable partner for the Mill Creek Town Center holiday event.
